A free-form tart with a press-in almond pastry crust and a filling of mixed fresh or frozen berries, this recipe skips the need for a tart pan or blind baking. The rough, folded edges are intentional and keep prep simple. It bakes in about 35 minutes and can be on the table in under an hour.

Notes
For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of lemon zest to the berry filling.
Substitute almond flour with hazelnut flour for a different nutty twist.
For a vegan adaptation, use margarine and a flaxseed egg in the crust.
