This Halloween party dessert is served in a clean litter box and scooped with a new litter scoop, making it one of the more memorable things you can bring to a table. Crushed cookies stand in for litter, and shaped candy pieces play the role of, well, everything else. Assembly takes about 30 minutes with no baking required.

1containerwhipped topping8 oz
3pieceschocolate candy barssuch as Tootsie Rolls, softened
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed on the package, bake, and set aside to cool.
Mix the vanilla pudding with 2 cups of chilled milk, then refrigerate until set, about 5-10 minutes.
Once the cake has cooled, crumble it into small, fine pieces, emulating a gritty texture.
In a large bowl, gently fold the whipped topping into the set pudding.
Layer half of the crumbled cake into the bottom of a 9x13 inch serving dish, followed by a layer of pudding mixture. Cover with a layer of crushed vanilla sandwich cookies.
Repeat with remaining cake and pudding mixture, finishing with a generous coating of crushed cookies on top.
Place softened chocolate candy bars (reshape if needed) on top of the 'litter' to complete the fun, thematic presentation.

Notes
For nutritional needs, substitute whipped topping with whipped cream or use almond milk for the pudding if dairy-free is required.
