Frozen bananas on sticks are dipped in melted chocolate and rolled in toppings such as chopped nuts, sprinkles, or shredded coconut before being returned to the freezer to set. The whole process takes under 30 minutes of active work, with an additional hour of freezing time. They keep well in the freezer for several days.

Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and insert wooden sticks into each banana half.
In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil, stirring until smooth and glossy.

Lori’s Tips:
For a nut-free version, consider using toasted coconut flakes as a topping.
If you desire a thicker chocolate coating, double-dip each banana, allowing the first layer to set before applying the second.
For a dairy-free or vegan option, ensure the chocolate chips are free from dairy ingredients.
